But by 2015 accusations swirl around Nick Gordon concerning his possible involvement in the death of Bobbi Kristina. Brown was found unconscious, facedown in her bathtub in late Jan. 2015. She remained in a coma for almost seven months.

In 2015, Nick Gordon, reportedly checked himself into rehab for drug abuse after breaking down on air with Dr. Phil. The interview was billed to discuss his life with Bobbi Kristina and the eerily similar circumstances in which she was found, like her mother the late singer Whitney Houston, almost three years prior. The couple wore shades and smiles at the Grammy Gift Lounge in 2014.

On Sept. 16, 2016, Fulton County Superior Court Judge T. Jackson Bedford declared Nick Gordon 'legally responsible' for the death of Bobbi Kristina Brown because Gordon failed to appear in court twice. The judge said anything alleged by the plaintiff is admitted through omission. Brown’s conservator's lawsuit seeks $50 million in damages.

Bobbi Kristina Brown, died July 26, 2015, in hospice care. She was 22 years old.  A Georgia medical examiner said that her death was not natural, and was a result of immersion in water and a drug mixture.
