Kanye West ditches his phone, then tweets about it

Typical Kanye, unplugging from technology for creativity's sake, then plugging back in to tell the world about it.

In between traveling the country on his Saint Pablo tour and lighting up New York during NYFW, Yeezy tweeted on Wednesday that he ditched his phone to harness his creativity.

That's gonna make launching into his infamous tweetstorms a little more difficult.

Luckily, if he ever feels the urge to pop off on Twitter during his cellular detox, he can always grab his wife Kim Kardashian's phone — when North isn't using it.

Giving up your phone to clear your head and focus on creative projects sounds great in theory, until your important emails start going unread and your doctor's phone calls go straight to voicemail. But with an entourage catering to his every need, we're guessing a phoneless Yeezy won't have those issues.
