Kris Jenner was in full momager mode as the Kardashians acted campy at the Met Gala

NEW YORK – The Kardashian/Jenner family didn't have to dress the part at the Met Gala, since the theme was "Camp: Notes on Fashion" and the over-the-top, overexposed reality TV brood embodies the definition.

But they did anyway. Well, some of them did. (We're looking at you with those boring outfits Kim and Kanye.)

Kris Jenner was living her best life, snapping photos of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, who wore a plain, dark Eisenhower jacket that you can snag for just $42.99 at Target. The momager, 63, donned a blond wig and had boyfriend Corey Gamble by her side as she walked the carpet, stopping to speak to various news outlets and promising to return to the press line "when the girls get here" – a promise she didn't keep.

Corey Gamble, Kris Jenner, Kanye West, Kim Kardashian West, Kendall Jenner, Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott made it a family affair at The 2019 Met Gala on Monday in New York.

The reality TV matriarch emerged once again when daughters Kendall, 23, and Kylie Jenner, 21, made their debut minutes apart, and she had daughter Kim waiting in the wings. Unlike Kim, Kendall and Kylie were all in for the theme, with feathered orange and purple looks, respectively, both by Versace.

The showgirl-themed dresses paired nicely with Jenner's navy Tommy Hilfiger gown and exaggerated shoulders in gray tulle.

Jenner quickly took note of how great the family would look together in a snap, so she began posing with Kendall and Kylie at the top of the carpet for their own pictures. She then called over Kardashian, 38, and West, 41, who joined the others for a photo, then they decided to move back down the carpet so the endless rows of photographers could snap them.

Kylie Jenner's beau, Travis Scott, got in on the action as well, giving the family the run of the red carpet as they posed for the type of framable, memorable and (of course) viral picture they are known for. Well played, Kris.
