With both national presidential conventions behind us, Harambe made his entrance in a July 30 Public Policy Polling poll.

Yes, that Harambe.

Harambe, the gorilla shot and killed three months ago at the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden after a 3-year-old fell into his enclosure, has a 27 percent unfavorable rating according to Public Policy Polling's latest data on the matter.

PPL surveyed 1,276 likely voters on July 29 and July 30, with a margin of error of +/- 2.7 percent. Of those selected through a list-based sample, 80 percent of the participants responded via the phone, with 20 percent from an opt-in internet panel, according to the PPL press release.

Most, however, were "not sure" about Harambe, at 69 percent.

Meanwhile, Donald Trump had a 58 percent unfavorable rating and Hillary Clinton had a 51 percent unfavorable rating.

When included in the race and identified as an Independent, Harambe gets 5 percent of the vote to Clinton's 48 percent and Trump's 43 percent.

Those 18-29 were more likely than any other age group to vote for Harambe, at 12 percent compared to 36 percent for Trump and 47 percent for Clinton.
