Milwaukee police investigate fatal shooting, stabbing

Milwaukee police are investigating two shootings, one of them fatal, that occurred Sunday on the city's north side, as well as a fatal stabbing late Saturday night.

According to police, a 32-year-old Milwaukee woman was fatally shot during an argument in the 2700 block of W. Lisbon Ave. around 4:20 p.m.

Earlier, around 12:35 p.m., a 26-year-old Milwaukee man was shot in the 2500 block of W. Roosevelt Drive.

Also, a 23-year-old man died at a hospital after being stabbed around 10 p.m. Saturday in the 1800 block of N. 29th St., Milwaukee police reported. The stabbing stemmed from a dispute with another man, police said.

Milwaukee has had more than 80 homicides to date this year, compared with 95 as of this time in 2015.
