Assault

1. An 18-year-old Hales Corners woman was taken into custody for domestic violence/disorderly conduct for physically assaulting her grandmother in the 10500 block of West Forest Home Avenue at about 6:30 p.m. Nov. 22.

Accidents

2. Emergency personnel responded to Prime Printing & Signs, 5442 S. 108th St., after a vehicle crashed into the front door and windows at about 10 a.m. Nov. 26. The driver, a 78-year-old woman, was parking the vehicle when she stepped on the gas instead of the brake, which caused the vehicle to jump the sidewalk and crash into the front of the building. The driver told police she was not injured, and no citations were issued.

3. A 20-year-old Milwaukee man was taken into custody for recklessly endangering safety and fleeing/eluding causing injury after he led police on a pursuit that started on South 108th Street and West Luther Avenue and ended in a crash on South 76th Street and West Layton Avenue at about 12:15 a.m. Nov. 23. Police initially tried to pull his vehicle over for speeding.

4. Hales Corners police assisted the fire department with seven rescue calls and one fire call between Nov. 21 and Nov. 28.
