Police received a report that rooms were ransacked and money was stolen from a home in the 4800 block of Sutton Lane at 9:30 p.m. Dec. 22.
A female employee was taken into custody for allegedly stealing money from BMO Harris Bank, 5454 S. 76th St., at 11:10 a.m. Dec. 19. She is facing a possible charge of felony theft.
Ten adults and one juvenile were cited for shoplifting at Southridge Mall, 5300 S. 76th St., between Dec. 16 and Dec. 22.
A man was taken into custody for second offense OWI and driving after revocation in the 6000 block of West Grange Avenue after a 911 caller reported seeing his vehicle doing donuts in a parking lot, and then travel east on Grange in the westbound lanes at about 1:15 a.m. Dec. 17. He refused chemical breath testing and was taken to the hospital for a blood draw.
Two people who were involved in a loud disturbance in the Food Court at Southridge Mall, 5300 S. 76th St., fled the parking lot in a vehicle as police arrived and almost struck a security officer while speeding out of the lot at about 7:40 p.m. Dec. 17. Police pursued the vehicle until it crashed near Forest Home Avenue and Cold Spring Road, and the driver and passenger fled on foot. One of the occupants, a male, was taken into custody after a foot pursuit. He is facing charges of fleeing/eluding police, reckless driving/endangering safety and disorderly conduct. He was also facing a charge of possession with intent to deliver after police found four pounds of marijuana inside the vehicle. The other occupants, a pregnant Hispanic female, was not found.
