Four KMC brand wheels/tires, valued at $1,400, were stolen out of a garage in the 1000 block of East Minnesota Avenue between Dec. 19 and Dec. 20.


Two males were cited for shoplifting after they were seen concealing about $1,100 worth of speakers inside a backpack at Kohl’s, 9035 S. Howell Ave., at 4:25 p.m. Dec. 20.

A black male wearing a camouflage hat, a black hoodie and a gold necklace walked into Farm & Fleet, 501 W. Rawson, took $808 worth of Milwaukee brand power tools off the shelves and tried to run out the emergency exit at about 2:05 p.m. Dec. 21. When he found the emergency door was locked and was confronted by an employee, the man ran out the store and got into a gray van that was waiting for him outside. The van was last seen heading west on Rawson Avenue.

A catalytic converter was stolen off a vehicle parked at South Shore Cinema, 7261 S. 13th St., between 7:15 and 9:30 p.m. Dec. 21. Damage is estimated at $500.

A woman is facing a felony charge after she attempted to shoplift over $2,000 worth of electronics and alcohol at Target, 8989 S. Howell Ave., at about 9:40 p.m. Dec. 21.


A woman was taken into custody for OWI after she was pulled over and cited for driving on the wrong side of the road in the 1500 block of West Rawson Avenue at about 2 a.m. Dec. 22. A preliminary breath test indicated a blood alcohol content of 0.15.


A man was found dead inside a snow-covered pickup truck parked in the 3800 block of East Addison Lane at about 8:30 a.m. Dec. 21. The man, who had been deceased for some time, was found frozen stiff with two empty vodka bottles inside the vehicle.

Oak Creek police assisted the fire department with three rescue calls between Dec. 20 and Dec. 22.
