GREENDALE - Police are seeking a man who robbed a gas station on South 76th Street and West Grange Avenue on Jan. 19.

The man walked into Speedway, 5490 S. 76th St., threatened the clerk and demanded money at about 1 a.m., according to police. No weapon was seen or implied.

After stealing an undisclosed amount of cash and lottery tickets, the man got into the passenger side of a dark colored Ford F150 extended cab pickup truck that was waiting for him outside the business. The truck was last seen traveling north on South 76th Street.

The suspect is described as a 180-pound white male between 5 feet 7 and 5 feet 10 inches tall.  He was wearing a black hat and face mask and a dark colored hooded sweatshirt underneath a black Adidas zip-up hoodie.

Police are also investigating attempted robbery at the BP gas station on 44th and Loomis in Greenfield that occurred about 10 minutes before the robbery at Speedway. Police believe the two incidents might be related due to the timing and the similarities between the suspect descriptions.
