1 Prescription medication and cash in a coffee tin were reported from an apartment in the 10500 block of West Cortez Circle prior to 8:10 p.m. Feb. 17. The lock on the front door was picked.
2 Two men shoplifted a tote bin full of cigarettes and two semiautomatic BB/air pistols at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., at about 1:45 p.m. Feb. 15.
3 A phone charger and cigarettes were stolen out of an unlocked vehicle in the 6800 block of South Dory Drive between 12:30 and 8 a.m. Feb. 18.
4 A radio was stolen out of a locked vehicle in the 6300 block of South 35th Street between 4 and 7:30 a.m. Feb. 18. A window was smashed and the dashboard was damaged.
5 A tailgate with the words “Super Duty” embossed on the back was stolen off a Ford pickup in the 6400 block of South 35th Street between 2:30 and 6:30 a.m. Feb. 19. The tailgate is valued at $700.
6 A 22-year-old man was taken into custody for domestic violence/disorderly conduct for allegedly punching his roommate’s boyfriend in the 10500 block of West Cortez Circle at about 9:35 p.m. Feb. 17.
7 Police received a report that a 31-year-old man allegedly pushed his wife to the ground, causing her to fall and hit her head, during an argument in the 7500 block of South 76th Street, and then left before police arrived at about 5 a.m. Feb. 18. West Allis police took him into custody the next day and he was taken to jail.
8 Police responding to a report of loud fight in the 3600 block of West College Avenue took a 61-year-old man and a 52-year-old woman into custody at about 3 a.m. Feb. 20. The man was cited for possession of marijuana, the woman was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia, and both were cited for loud/unnecessary noise.
9 A 17-year-old boy was cited for vandalism for punching out a window at a home in the 8500 block of West Oakwood Road at about 2:30 p.m. Feb. 18.
10 A 39-year-old man was taken into custody for public indecency for exposing his genitals to management after he was caught trying to steal a pair of gloves at Gander Mountain, 6939 S. Riverwood Blvd., at 4:40 p.m. Jan. 30. He was also taken into custody for having a valid commitment for possession of cocaine with the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Department, a parole violation with Wisconsin Community Corrections, and two warrants for a credit card crime and theft with the Greenfield Police Department.
11 Police received a report that someone fired a gun in the men’s locker room at Planet Fitness, 6529 S. 27th St., at about 9:30 a.m. Feb. 12. Members heard the gun shot, but no one saw it. There was damage to a bench and the bullet was lodged in the rubber floor, according to police. Police spoke to the suspect, a 66-year-old man, who stated he had a “misfire” while holstering the weapon after his workout, and he suffered a graze wound to his upper right leg. He had a valid CCW permit, and the business did not wish to file a complaint.
12 A 9-mm Canik handgun was stolen from a home in the 8500 block of South Parkland Drive prior to 10:45 a.m. Feb. 11. It was found inside a vehicle that was pulled over for a traffic stop in Big Horn County, Wyoming, at about 9:15 p.m. Feb. 15.
Franklin police assisted the fire department with two rescue calls and one fire call between Feb. 13 and Feb. 19.
