OAK CREEK - Police are investigating a robbery at 7-Eleven, 1225 W. Rawson Ave., that happened at about 2:20 a.m. Feb. 20.

The store employee told police he was standing outside talking on his cell phone when a man ran towards him from the west side of the gas station. The man, who was wearing a bandana over his face, began yelling at him to get back into the store.

The employee told police he did not see a weapon, but the suspect implied he had a gun in his front pocket.

The employee and suspect went back into the store, where the suspect forced the employee to open the cash register. After grabbing all the cash out of the register, the suspect entered the back room and filled a black trash bag full of merchandise. He then ran out of the store through the rear emergency exit. It was unknown if he fled on foot or had a vehicle.

The suspect is described as a black male between 6 feet and 6-feet 3-inches tall. He was wearing a navy blue baseball hat, dark sunglasses, and a dark-colored hoodie. He also had a red bandana covering his face and was wearing gray gloves.
