1 About $1,500 worth of items, including jewelry and three TVs, were stolen from a locked apartment in the 6300 block of South 35th Street between 9:55 a.m. and 5:05 p.m. Feb. 21. The front door was forced open.


2 A silver necklace valued at $250 was stolen during a birthday party at a residence in the 10500 block of West Cortez Circle prior to 7:25 p.m. Feb. 25.


3 A 30-year-old man was taken into custody for domestic violence/disorderly conduct for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend/mother of his child during an argument in the 10200 block of West Whitnall Edge Drive at 10:05 a.m. Feb. 26. When police arrived the suspect refused to open the door, and police had to force their way in. He was also cited for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.


4 A 57-year-old Franksville man was taken into custody for third-offense OWI in the parking lot at Walgreens, 9527 S. 27th St., at about 10 a.m. Feb. 22. He was also cited for having open intoxicants in a vehicle and a seat-belt violation. A breath test indicated a preliminary blood alcohol content of 0.15.

5 A 34-year-old Milwaukee woman was taken into custody for fourth-offense OWI, driving with a revoked license and possession of drug paraphernalia in the 2000 block of West Drexel Avenue at about 2:15 a.m. Feb. 25. She was taken to the hospital for a blood draw, then transported to jail.


6 The rear passenger side window of a car was smashed at Cornerstone Bible Church, 11321 W. St. Martins Road, between 4:30 and 5:30 p.m. Feb. 24. Nothing inside the vehicle was taken.


7 Emergency personnel responded to a fire in the 6900 block of West Wild Flower Court at 2:05 a.m. Feb. 24. The fire was caused by a lightning strike. No injuries were reported.


8 A 54-year-old man was cited for dog at large and harboring a vicious animal after his bulldog ran out of his yard and attacked a golden doodle while it was being walked, on a leash, by its owner in the 8600 block of West Hawthorne Lane. The golden doodle had to have several stitches and five drains put into its body due to the attack.

9 An intoxicated 28-year-old man was taken into custody for domestic violence/disorderly conduct after he got into a violent altercation with his father in the 7600 block of South 70th Street at 1:15 p.m. Feb. 21. The suspect, who was out on bail when the fight occurred, was also taken into custody for bail jumping because he was in violation of his absolute sobriety order.
