1 Jewelry was stolen from a locked residence in the 6300 block of Parkview Road at 11:35 a.m. March 6. It was unknown how the home was entered.


2 Eight American eagle coins, two power drills and about $1,625 was stolen from a residence in the 6000 block of Oakwood Lane between March 6 and March 9. The caller told police her son was responsible for the thefts, and that he allegedly admitted to stealing the money. A warrant has been issued for his arrest.

3 Five adults and six juveniles were cited for shoplifting at Southridge Mall, 5300 S. 76th St., between March 3 and March 9.


4 A woman was taken into custody for OWI after her vehicle was pulled over on West Loomis Road and West College Avenue at 3:05 a.m. March 5. She was also cited for an unsafe lane deviation, impeding traffic by slow speed and no insurance. A breath test indicated a preliminary blood alcohol content of 0.17.


5 A man was taken into custody for yelling profanities inside Southridge Mall, 5300 S. 76th St., at about 4:15 p.m. March 3. After being booked, cited for disorderly conduct and released, he was told he was permanently banned from mall.
