Theft

1 About $3,100 worth of Polo merchandise was shoplifted at Macy’s, 5400 S. 76th St., at 8:30 p.m. March 11. No suspect description was given.

2 Four adults were cited for shoplifting at Southridge Mall, 5300 S. 76th St., between March 10 and March 16.

Assault

3 A male was taken into custody for domestic violence/disorderly conduct for allegedly pushing his grandmother to the floor in the 7200 block of Enfield Avenue at 8:15 p.m. March 14. He was also cited for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Drug possession

4 Police responding to a report of a family argument at a home in the 5300 block of South 51st Street took a man into custody and cited him for possession of drug paraphernalia at about 12:30 a.m. March 11. He was also told not to return to the residence.

OWI

5 A driver was taken into custody for second-offense OWI after a two-vehicle collision on West Loomis Road and West Ramsey Avenue at 7:35 a.m. March 12.

6 A man whose vehicle was seen swerving out of its lane in Franklin was taken into custody for second-offense OWI at his home in the 6200 block of Parkview Road at about 7 p.m. March 15. He was taken to the hospital for a blood draw, booked, cited and released.

7 A Greendale man was taken into custody for second-offense OWI in the 5100 block of Maplewood Drive at about 3:45 p.m. March 16. A breath test indicated a preliminary blood alcohol content of 0.21.

Other

8 Police went to the B12 Store at Southridge Mall, 5300 S. 76th St., after a female employee reported a young male requested a B12 shot, then made sexual comments and exposed his penis at about 5:30 p.m. Feb. 18. The boy, who gave the store false information about his true identity, was tracked down by police and cited for lewd and lascivious behavior.
