Robbery

1 A woman wearing a pink sweatshirt and glasses walked into Tri City Bank, 5555 S. 108th St., handed a note to a bank teller demanding cash, and walked out of the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash just before 5 p.m. March 27. The suspect, who robbed a  BMO Harris Bank in Brookfield on March 25, was taken into custody on March 28.

Burglary

2 Several items, including an iPad and binoculars, were stolen from a residence in the 5100 block of South 116th Street between 6 a.m. and 4 p.m. March 22. The suspects entered the home through a loose door.

Vandalism

3 Police received a report that someone put a nail into tires on two vehicles parked in a driveway in the 10900 block of West Edgerton Avenue, and nails were also found lying on the driveway at 6:55 p.m. March 14. The victim gave police the name of a possible suspect, but he denied any involvement.

4 The rear windshield on a vehicle was shattered in the 10600 block of West Janesville Road between 1 p.m. March 19 and 7 a.m. March 20. Damage is estimated at $300.

Other

5 Police received a report that two vehicles, a blue Mustang GT and a Volkswagen Jetta, were driving recklessly while traveling north on Highway 100 and West Grange Avenue at 6:35 p.m. March 24. The vehicles were allegedly cutting other drivers off and the drivers/occupants were throwing objects at each other’s vehicles, with some of the debris landing on other cars. Police searched the area but did not find the vehicles.

Hales Corners police assisted the fire department with two rescue calls and one fire call between March 20 and March 26.
