Theft

1 A gold band with several diamonds was stolen at Xperience Fitness, 5321 S. 108th St., prior to 5:55 p.m. March 27. The ring and two others were left on a counter in the women’s locker room, and were eventually turned in to management. When the owner came back to retrieve them, she discovered someone else had inquired about lost rings, and had claimed the gold and diamond one as her own. The ring is valued at about $1,000.

2 An officer pulled over two vehicles after they stopped in the roadway in the 11300 block of West Janesville Road, and the two drivers, a 34-year-old woman and a 47-year-old man, got out of their vehicles and hugged each other in the middle of the road at about 4 a.m. March 31. Both were advised by police that kind of behavior wasn’t necessary in the middle of the road at 4 a.m.

Hales Corners police assisted the fire department with two rescue calls between March 27 and April 2.
