Pastor charged with child molestation

Hales Corners pastor Thomas Chantry was charged with five counts of child molestation and two counts of aggravated assault connected to his time working as a pastor in Prescott, Arizona more than a decade ago.

Chantry is currently on a leave of absence as pastor of Christ Reformed Baptist Church.






Clowns come to the south suburbs

The creepy clowns that were making headlines across the country made their way to the south suburbs with many incidents occuring throughout the month of October. For example, a woman reported her son, an Oak Creek High School student, was jumped by a group of clowns in Oak Leaf Park in Oak Creek at about 9 p.m. on Oct. 14, according to a police report.

Following these and reports across the county and hoping to prevent more mask-wearers from terrorizing the public, Target stores across the nation have pulled their clown masks from the shelves.

Franklin restaurant manager gets jail time

A manager at Michelangelo's restaurant in Franklin was sentenced to nine months in prison and 60 months probation for false imprisonment and physical abuse of a child Aug. 9.

Chad Napierala, 28, plead guilty to the charges. According to the criminal complaint, he had locked a 17-year-old employee in the freezer, whipped the employee with towels, touched her neck and legs because it bothered her, and tied her up on multiple occasions.
