Franklin — Hideaway Pub in Franklin helped We Energies' Oak Creek power plant reach $5,000 in donations for United Way this year.

For the past three years, Hideaway has donated gift certificates to use as prizes for fundraisers organized by the Oak Creek Power Plant. Employees have organized luncheons, games, raffles, and auctions to help raise money.

In late November, We Energies presented Hideaway with a letter of thanks for their help throughout the years.

"We energies corporation is a strong supporter of United Way," said Gary Grocz, We Energies employee and donor. "We are thankful for a local restaurant's donation that will help so many in need.
