Aspiring authors will get the chance to have their publishing questions answered at the Franklin Public Library's Publishing 101 program at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 18, in the Fadrow room at the library, 9151 W Loomis Road.

The Publishing 101 program will be facilitated by Orange Hat Publishing in Waukesha and cover the pros and cons of the major types of publishing to help authors better navigate the complex industry. The program will also cover some of the major publishing scams and tips on how to avoid them.

Participants will get the chance to ask questions during a Q&A session at the end.
