Wehr Nature Center will host "I Heart Winter," an outdoor adventure program for adults, from 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, at the nature center, 9701 W. College Ave. in Whitnall Park, Franklin.

Activities for the day include snowshoeing, winter tracking with a naturalist, and an obstacle course team challenge. Snowshoes will be provided for the event, which participants can use to explore trails for signs of wildlife.

Prizes for contest winners will include sweet treats, passes to local night spots for Valentine's Day, free snowshoe rentals, and Friends of Wehr memberships.

The night will also include relaxing around a fire pit and sipping both spiked and non-alcoholic versions of cider and hot cocoa. Because of the alcoholic beverages served, the program is only open to participants 21 or older.

Registration is recommended to guarantee admission, though not required. Walk-ins are welcome as space allows.

Admission to the event, $20 per person or $15 for Friends of Wehr members, includes all activities, snacks, and two drinks. Parking is $3 per car.

For more information, or to register, call Wehr at 414-425-8550.
