The Polish Center of Wisconsin, 6941 S. 68th St. in Franklin, will host cooking classes in April where participants can learn traditional Polish recipes.

The first class, held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Monday, April 10, will teach how to make "Mazurek," a traditional Polish Easter cake. Anne Wal will instruct this class.

The second class, held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Monday, April 17, will focus on making "Nalewka." Polish cordials that use vodka and fresh fruit.

Each class is $18 per person, or $14 for members of the Polish Heritage Alliance.

Registration is required for each class. To register, fill out the form available under the events tab on the Polish Center's website, polishcenterofwisconsin.org.
