Hales Corners will kick of the holiday season with its annual Village Tree Lighting Ceremony at 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3 at the lower level parking lot of the Hales Corners Library, 5885 S. 116th Street.

The Whitnall Middle School Band will begin the evening's activities with a performance, followed by Santa arriving on a fire truck, and then the ceremonial tree lighting.

Right after the ceremony, at 6:30 p.m., the library's youth services librarian Patrick Lodge will lead a classic holiday story time in the Hunt Room, complete with refreshments and a visit by Santa.

Easy handicapped access is available to the Hunt Room from the lower level parking lot. The room is also equipped with a hearing loop.

This event is sponsored by the Friends of the Hales Corners Library and the Village of Hales Corners.
