The Hales Corners Library will hold its annual used book sale from Friday, March 31, through Sunday, April 2, in the Hunt Room at the library, 5885 S. 116th St.
The first night of the book sale is a special preview night, in which members of the Friends of the Library and Hales Corners residents can have first pick of the books from 7 to 9 p.m. On preview night, books are $1.50 for hard cover or trade paperbacks and 50 cents for small paperbacks or children's books.
On Saturday, the book sale will be open to the public from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Hardcover and trade paperbacks are $1 this day, and paperbacks and children's books are 50 cents.
The final day of the book sale is the "cheap books" day, in which patrons can buy a paper grocery bag full of books for $5. The cheap books sale will be open from noon to 3 p.m. on Sunday.
Funds raised from the sale will support the library's summer reading programs.
