Boerner Botanical Gardens, 9400 Boerner Drive, will host the 2017 Herb Fair from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, May 20.
Presented by the Herb Society of America - Wisconsin Unit, the day will feature presentations, demonstrations and thousands of herb plants. Friends of Boerner Botanical Gardens will also lead children's activities from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. that day.
Herb plants, jewelry, garden art, and other items will be for sale at "Thyme Square," near the Education and Visitor Center. A tea room will also be available, serving herbal teas and treats.
The herb fair is free to attend with admission to the botanical gardens. Members of the Herb Society of America will receive free admission to the gardens.
Admission to the gardens is $5.50 for adults, $4.50 for students or Milwaukee County seniors age 60 and up with ID, and $3.50 for youth age six through 17.
All proceeds from the Herb Fair will go toward grants and scholarships.
