In honor of Father's Day, Boerner Botanical Gardens, 9400 Boerner Drive, will have a variety of military vehicles on display from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, June 18.
Members of the Midwest Military Vehicle Association will show both restored and unrestored vehicles, including a Vietnam-era ambulance and large-tracked, armored vehicles.
That day, Zili Hospitality Group, the on-site caterer, will offer a brunch from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. that will include a Bloody Mary bar, "Man-mosas," panko-encrusted chicken, bacon-wrapped pork loin, made-to-order omelets, and more. Admission to the gardens is $5.50 for adults, $4.50 for students, seniors, or Milwaukee County residents, and $3.50 for youth age 6-17.
