OAK CREEK - The Gitlewski family appeared on Family Feud April 19 but unfortunately weren't able to win.

The local team ended up losing in the sudden death round.

Oak Creek resident Judy Faller (maiden name Gitlewski) competed with her sister Sue Robb, her niece Kayla Franecki, her sister Karen Krawczyk, and her niece Alissa Gadouas.

"All of us were just devastated," Faller said. "We wanted the chance to go to fast money so bad."

Faller said she hoped they could be called back one day.

"This was such an amazing opportunity," she said. "We just want to go back for another chance."

A mother of six, Faller said her children had an interesting response when they found out their mom didn't win.

"All of my kids disowned me when I told them I lost," Faller said, laughing.

The process was quite extensive to get on the show.

Starting with an audition in November 2015, the family then waited for months before they heard back. Once they made it to the filming in Atlanta, Georgia, they were sent home with Steve Harvey going home sick.

A few months later they returned and were able to complete filming.
