OAK CREEK - Valentine Coffee is holding a ribbon cutting at 4 p.m. Friday, May 5, at its new cafe in Drexel Town Square.
The official grand opening is May 6 atcafe, 7981 S. 6th St., and will feature commemorative tasting glasses with champagne splashes, according to a news release. A portion of the proceeds will go to benefit homeless students in the Oak Creek-Franklin School District.
“We can’t wait for people to come and experience the flavors, sounds, and feel of the café,” said Robb Kashevarof Founder of Valentine Coffee Co. “We look forward to sharing our commitment to top-notch coffee, food, and service with the community.”
Valentine, founded in 2009, sources their own coffee. Their menu also features breakfast, lunch, and dinner food offerings from Bruce Badke, a chef formerly of Distil, the release states.
“This café is a culmination of our combined passion and experience in the coffee, food, wine and restaurant industries,” said Joe Gilsdorf, managing partner for Valentine. “We’ve poured over every detail creating this new location, to make it the ultimate gathering place that will enlighten all of the senses."
Valentine Coffee Co. currently operates a location in Milwaukee, 5918 W. Vliet St.
