Two Greendale baseball players were given first-team All Conference accolades by the Woodland Conference (both divisions), including senior catcher Logan Rezash and senior first baseman Griffin Doersching.

Doersching, a Northern Kentucky recruit, has been on a late-season home run tear in his only season with the Greendale varsity.

Greendale sophomore outfielder Sean Sanchez was named first-team in the West Division.

Pewaukee’s Patrick Tomfohrde was named West Division Player of the Year, and league-champion Pewaukee had the Coach of the Year with co-coaches Adam and Marc Dobberstein.

Greendale did not have any players named second team or honorable mention.

Whitnall did not have any players selected to the dual-division first team, but several were acknowledged on the Woodland East teams.

Whitnall junior pitcher Ben Wirth, junior infielder Joey Tilley, senior utility man Dillon Peters and senior designated player Brady Cunningham all made the cut. Second-team selections included Whitnall senior pitcher Erik Tillman and senior outfielder Ryan Bigalke.

Cudahy’s Alex Rodriguez was named East Player of the Year, and Packers coach Josh Jagler was Coach of the Year for the league-champion Packers.
