The folks in Vegas have made their ruling: The Florida suspension do nothing but improve Michigan's chances in the season opener.

Today, Florida announced the suspensions of seven players for the Sept. 2 game in Arlington, Texas, including star receiver Antonio Callaway.

According to Wolverine247, U-M began the day as a 2 1/2-point favorite with the Westgate Superbook. But since the suspension announcement, the Wolverines have moved to a 4 1/2-point favorite.

Callaway was Florida's leading receiver last season and main threat on kick and punt returns. The Gators will also be without defensive end Keivonnis Davis, who had 27 tackles last season.

On Friday, U-M fully reinstated wide receiver Grant Perry, who was sentenced to 12 months probation earlier this month for an October incident outside an East Lansing bar last year.
