Friday's Front Row Sports Grill at Miller Park will get a makeover for the 2020 season and a new name: 'Restaurant to be Named Later.'

The Milwaukee Brewers' home stadium will still be known as Miller Park for one final year in 2020, but the staple in the third-base corner won't remain Friday's Front Row Sports Grill.

The Brewers announced that the restaurant will be re-branded as "Restaurant To Be Named Later." That's the name, not a placeholder. It's a riff on the "player to be named later" frequently used as currency in MLB player trades.

The announcement was made today through a lighthearted video featuring Brewers broadcastinglegend Bob Uecker.

In the video, Uecker shuffles through his old radio calls and consults other members of the Brewers front office to arrive at a name. It's general manager David Stearns who makes the suggestion that sticks.

"The Restaurant To Be Named Later will be operated by Delaware North Sportservice. The menu will celebrate a myriad of Wisconsin favorites, with twists on classic food and beverage offerings," the release said. "The space will also be refreshed with updated décor."

Friday’s Front Row Sports Grill will remain in operation in the Hot Corner entrance at Miller Park until early December before the space is closed for the conversion to the Restaurant To Be Named Later. It will reopen in mid-January.

Like its predecessor, the Restaurant To Be Named Later will be open throughout the year and will include options for game ticket packages.

“We are always looking to enhance the complete fan experience at Miller Park, and we place the highest priority on developing creative food and beverage concepts to fit all tastes,” said Rick Schlesinger, Brewers president of business operations. "We are excited about the work we are doing with Delaware North to make this an inviting venue.”

American Family Insurance was announced as the new naming-rights partner for the stadium beginning in 2021. The official new name of the stadium has yet to be revealed.
