The home of the Milwaukee Brewers serves up some of the best food in all of Major League Baseball.

That's according to USA Today's 10Best Readers' Choice Awards, which dropped a list of "the 10 best MLB stadiums for food" on Wednesday.

American Family Field came in second behind the Met's Citi Field in Queens, New York. Ironically, that's where Milwaukee will be headed for its regular season opener at the end of the month.

The stadiums on the 10Best list were selected by an expert panel and voted on by readers.

The write-up talked about how visitors of the Brewers ballpark can order up Wisconsin foods at J. Leinenkugel's Barrel Yard, including beer cheese soup, Chippewa Falls cheese curds and Leinie's beer-battered walleye.

The Barrel Yard made its debut last year on Brewers opening day.

Its menu focuses on the idea of a new Northwoods kitchen and high-quality ingredients. The brewery — which has a three-barrel brewing system — also has its own full-time, on-site brewer.

A wall-sized mural in the restaurant — created by local artist David Zimmerman, aka Bigshot Robot — also pays homage to the Northwoods.

The restaurant is open year-round from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. Hours may change during events and game days. Options for how you can spend game days at the Barrel Yard can be found here.

The 10Best report also made note of Am Fam Field's Club level taco bar and Friday fish frys.

After the Brewers' series against the Mets at the end of March, Milwaukee will head home to host the Minnesota Twins for a two-game series. The Crew's home opener will be at 3:10 p.m. April 2. Game 2 of the series will be at 12:10 p.m. April 3.
