Russell Westbrook was well on his way to his league-leading 34th triple-double of the season when he threw one of his most incredible passes of the year Thursday night.

The Oklahoma City Thunder were already up by double-digits on the Toronto Raptors with just over two minutes left in the first half when Westbrook uncorked an overhand bounce pass that traveled through Cory Joseph's leg and hit Victor Oladipo in-stride for an easy layup. The distance and timing were one thing, but the nutmeg? Unbelievable. Anyone looking for an MVP moment, akin to a Heisman moment, may have found one.

Westbrook entered Thursday's game a bit more riled up than usual. Asked earlier about Steph Curry's MVP opinion, which the Golden State Warriors' guard said would go to James Harden, Westbrook didn't miss a beat.

"I don't care. It doesn't matter what he say. Who is he?" Westbrook deadpanned.

It's a four-player race according to NBA executives, who had Westbrook slightly behind Harden. For what it's worth, their former Thunder coach Scott Brooks, now of the Washington Wizards, felt Westbrook was deserving of the award.
