Samsung will reportedly unveil its next smartphone on March, and will feature screens up to six inches and a minimum of 64 GB of storage.

According to Venturebeat, Samsung will introduce the Galaxy S8 during an event in late March, its first new mobile device since issuing a massive recall of the Galaxy Note 7 smartphone because of fire hazard risks.

Samsung will unveil two models: one with a 5.8-inch screen, and a second with a 6.2-inch screen. Both devices will use Samsung's edge technology, where the screen wraps around the side of the device, says the report.

Among other bells and whistles: a USB-C port for charging, a headphone jack (dropped by Apple on the iPhone 7), a starting model with 64 GB of storage, and Samsung's own digital assistant, called Bixby.

Samsung is looking for its next smartphone hit following the debacle tied to the Note 7. The company recalled the device after consumers reported the device was overheating and catching fire or exploding. Samsung eventually stopped selling the smartphone after replacement devices issued during the initial recall also had overheating problems.

Earlier this month, Samsung cited manufacturing and design flaws with the Note 7's battery as the reason for the issues.
